The system constantly gathers information on printed materials and operates even when database server is unavailable. Whenever connection with the server is reestablished, the program saves all data collected up to that point into the server database. If the system is stopped before all information is in the database, it will save the remaining information into a temporary file; later, at the next system start up this information also gets saved into the database.
