AUTOMATIC INDEXATION OF MS ACCESS DATABASE FIELDS FROM FILES OF THE MDB FORMAT ON THE DISK

SearchInform software supports the feature of indexing and searching within Access DBMS. This is achieved due to the data sources concept. The user needs to select a specific file format, this will make all files of the type available for search upon indexing.

Quite often there may be an extensive number of MS Access files on a user’s computer or on the corporate network. It may become a long process to manually connect each of them as a data source and then choose the required fields for indexation.

SearchInform Desktop Professional has the option of parsing MDB format. It is carried out automatically without connecting these files as a separate data source. SearchInform Server would require additional MS Access Connector installation. This option makes the work with Access DBMS much easier.
