Client-server architecture

PlagiatInform system has two components:

• PlagiatInform server;


• PlagiatInform client.

These components can function both on one computer and/or on several ones simultaneously (the client connects to the server via network). In order for the server part of PlagiatInform to function, SearchInform Server must be installed on the server.

We recommend that after installing PlagiatInform, PlagiatInform Server Console is launched and two indexes are created – one comprising full documents and one with the documents divided into paragraphs. This way the system would be able to identify the degree of plagiarism with maximum precision.

Moreover if the system automatically identifies plagiarism when searching through the first index, you will still be able to launch search through the second index to get more detailed results.

Putting a tick in front of the index names, one can manually define the desired indexes, through which the search for plagiarism will be conducted.

Having launched the PlagiatInform Client and connected to the server, the documents can be checked for plagiarism through the previously created in PlagiatInform Server Console indexes.
