SearchInform Technologies, which offers a text search system for enterprises, has launched version 4.3, which offers a new indexing technology featuring a thesaurus and stemming analysis module built into the initial indexes.
In SearchInform 4.3, when creating a new index, users can select a mode in which thesaurus and stemming search modules are automatically incorporated into the search index. According to the company, this increases the system's overall search speed. Also, as the program's thesaurus database has been significantly extended, it said the quality of search has been improved considerably.
