Local Search

As simple file search tools on a given single PC don’t differ much in their features from one another, discussing them in detail doesn’t require much thought. You only input the file name (or a small extract from the Word document) and that’s it. The speed of search and the results are in direct relation to the query itself. No smart features whatsoever — a simple blind search in all supported files. That, however, is justified, since there’s no need for a complicated system when the expectations are so low.
