Unique Similar Search

A lot of companies today intensively work on developing new full text search tools. Nowadays the speeds of computing let companies create technologies with different levels of query processing and huge amounts of additional parameters, while the experience in the field of phrase search provides the developers with valuable information for working further with that technology and creating a more and more exquisite technologies and systems. Google, in particular its “similar pages” function, still remains one of the most popular and well-known technologies. When using this function the user sees pages with maximum similarity to the content of the query page. This feature works, but no significant results have been received, as they end up being fuzzy, relatively irrelevant, and sometimes even the technology itself doesn’t work and shows the absence of relevant web pages in the result. The problem most likely lies in the global network — its chaos and unstructured loads of information. Yet the precedent exists and that shows that creation of a system that would be flawless is just a matter of time. 
 

Not everything is so bright with the corporate data search and processing systems as practically all are still on the paper and underway. None of the ‘titans’ in field have a real similar document search engine. Perhaps, it’s due to the lack of demand (as simple phrase search is satisfactory enough), or maybe due to the complexity of its realization? Nonetheless there IS a working full-fledge technology like that.
