The indexing speed wasn’t bad, it even shared the second place in the list of the fastest systems with another competitor — iSYS. dtSearch took 6 hours and 13 minutes to index the tested 20 Gbytes of information and created a search index of 7.9 Gb.

The search features are quite adequate. There is a morphological search (a word in all its stem forms), which is quite useful for you never know in what form the query word might appear in the text. The use of morphological function is always justified, so it’s a must-have of any professional search engine. Sound search is something totally untypical even for professional search engines. The main catch is that the program will look for words that sound similar to the query.
