Domestic search

Program interface is designed complying with all the common rules. From the first glance it seems a bit bulky, but if you take a closer look you see that it would be impossible to fit all the SearchInform functions into, for instance, a browser window (like Google).

It supports indexing of electronic mail, connection and indexing of databases and other outside sources (DMS, CRM). While creating an index, you can also use an in-built Russian morphological (or English stemming) dictionary and file attribute support.  

Let’s start the discussion of program features from phrasal search: morphologic search, quotation search, logical operations, syntactic search (by the beginning, ending, middle part or a full match), mixed quotation search (all words from the query must appear in the document, but not necessarily in the order of query), search with mistake correction, synonym dictionary usage, etc. Beside that a dictionary of unimportant words can be used (the program already contains such list) as well as important (prioritized) words dictionary.  

 

Yet what gives the program its zest is search of documents, similar to the query in its meaning content (they are ranked according to their “percentage of similarity”). Unlike the standard phrase search it enables you to avoid the step of preliminary selection of keywords.
