SearchInform functionality features
Full text search application "SearchInform" combines the functionality of phrasal search with proper consideration for stemming and synonyms dictionary and the new SoftInform Search Technology of searching for documents of similar content. The utility is designated for data search in large data volume and considerably increases the quality of information processing and decreases the searching time. The information retrieval speed is approximately three times as high as that of all the existent search engines.
SearchInform enables the opportunity to work with various data sources. It works with the most popular text files formats (txt, doc, rtf, pdf, htm, html). Indexing fields from practically all the currently existent data base systems (for example, Access, MS SQL, Oracle, as well as any SQL supporting data base systems) is enabled.
Document search is based on the patented SoftInform Search Technology and is carried out with the help of mathematical analysis of the document structure and selecting similar words, word combinations and text arrays. When similar content search is conducted, the SearchInform utility accounts for all the multitude of words, encountered in the text, with proper consideration for all the word forms. To make information search more specific, SearchInform enables the “important words” function, which will be regarded of priority relevance by the application, when conducting additional similarity analysis. SearchInform is ability to act when others are still searching.
