In the end of April “SoftInform” company, corporate and internet-oriented search software developer, announced attracting investments from Aelita Software, a branch of Quest Software company that deals with development, introduction and monitoring of the network software.

It’s a step that, according to the SoftInform management, will start a new stage of development and will extend the sphere of company’s field of activity. “Our plan is not only to backup an already existing popularity on the Russian market, but, what’s more important, to enter the market of corporate search engines in Europe and USA”, — said Lev Matveyev, SoftInform general director.

At the same time the president of AMUST Software and the founder of Aelita Software Ratmir Timashev notes that the strategic decision about the partnership and investments into the SoftInform’s developments was made with the proper consideration given to the potential of SoftInform Search Technology, which has already acquired a positive reputation in the countries of CIS.
