As SoftInform Press Service has noted, a big portion of the money will be spent on expanding the company’s presence on the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) market as well as on organizing SoftInform search software sales in Europe and USA. “We have made a strategic decision about cooperating with SoftInform and investing into their developments in the field of search, as we see in them a great potential that will help them become leaders in the internet-oriented & corporate market of search software”, — said Ratmir Timashev.

According to market analysts, the reason Amust Software is so interested in SoftInform is that it can add up to the Amust’s production line in the search field. Besides, Messrs. Timashev and Baronov are chairman of the board of directors & director of the offshore company Quintura Inc., which is working on developing a Quintura search engine of the next generation to be used in the global network. At a certain point they became Quintura’s co-investors.
